our diversity, equity, and inclusion statement: nova//sync is queer owned & operated, with many of our executive staff members representing different gender identities, sexual orientations, and racial identities. any harassment or discrimination will not be tolerated within our organisation.

routine

routine information: we here at nova//sync are currently developing a mental health playbook for our players to help with game burnout, tilting, and more. we plan to loop in our coaches and have mental health training sessions for all of our players.

our history

nova//sync was created by our owner, angel ruzicka, in july of 2025. the organisation was focused on overwatch and had four teams competing under the organisation. we had three North american teams and one european team.
☆ ☆ ☆
we had great success in our inaugural season, with two teams qualifying for faceit advanced league. however, angel needed to take a step back to finish her degree and focus on her mental and physical health.

now, nova//sync is returning to the esports scene with big plans in the league of legends space and then expanding into different titles down the road.sync up your game and

a brief about me: My name is Angel Ruzicka, and I am a two-time graduate of Indiana University, holding a BA in Communications and an MS in Management with a focus on Organisational Development.

I have been involved in the esports scene since 2017, focusing mainly on League of Legends and Overwatch.

On the professional side, I have over eight years of experience in marketing, management, operations, and esports management.
